In a dramatic ending at Minute Maid Field the Chicago Rastafarians won in
their last at-bat beating the Detroit Iron Gloves by the count of 9 to
7.

Chicago erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
with 2 runs using 2 hits.  Kelly Stinnett started the inning off right when
he lined a single.  After an out was recorded, Adam Everett came up and he
blasted a two-run home run (his 3rd of the season) resulting in an exciting
win for Chicago and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Both
teams totaled 11 on the afternoon.  

Francisco Cordero(7-7) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Brian Shouse(4-1) took the loss in relief.  He gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 2
and 2/3 innings.
